Esco Vents
ESCOVent is probably one of the most versatile Natural Slate Ventilators available on the market today. ESCOvents will match perfectly with any slate simply by using a piece of the same slate, cut on site and fitted into the bottom section.
ESCOVents can be used for the termination of soil vents or extractor fans (with a optional flexi pipe) or to simply ventilate the roof void.
Developed by one of Europe’s foremost producers of roof ventilation products, ESCOVent is manufactured from UV stabilised material, using design technology developer proven and tested during more than 30 years of experience in this specialised field.

Fixings
Copper Nails
32-35mm x 3mm Copper Clout Nails with a 10mm head. Our recommended nails for fixing our natural roofing slate. Supplied in 5kg boxes.
Slate Hooks
Grade 316 Stainless steel point , on tape slate hooks. Supplied in boxes of 1000 number.
Undercloak
A light grey coloured strip used for mortar bedded verge and semi-exposed applications such as roofline soffit. This product meets the fire performance requirements of BS 476:1989 part 6 and BS476:1997 part 7. Autoclaved for improved moisture resistance and strength.

3.2mm thickness, 150mm wide x 1200mm lengths
4.5mm thickness, 150mm wide x 1200mm lengths.
A product which is popular on traditional verge details and semi-exposed applications, particularly when natural slate is used. Also commonly used on roof refurbishments.
